Orhan ÇEVİK

MATRİS partner Orhan ÇEVİK has been working as the manager and/or the consultant of the activities related with the design methodologies, process management systems, quality and process improvement techniques and tools since 1994. He worked as the Consulting and Training Services Department Manager and Automotive/Telecom Business Line Manager  at Bureau Veritas Turkey between 1997 and 2002.  During his time at Bureau Veritas, he has provided consulting and training services for many companies on management systems, quality and process improvement tools. Çevik is also ISO 9000 and QS 9000 Lead Assessor.

Before Bureau Veritas, he worked as the Quality Manager at Beldesan Motorlu Vasıtalar Sanayi A. Ş. Shock Absorbers plant of Koç Group, with the responsibility of quality systems and quality control activities.

He has graduated from Middle East Technical University, Mechanical Engineering department and completed his Master of Arts degree on Industrial Design at the University of Marmara. Çevik, has completed Six Sigma Train The Trainer trainings in USA in 2002.

At MATRİS, he acts as Master Black Belt and responsible for managing Six Sigma implementation projects,  training curriculum development,  new product development, managing and providing training and consulting activities for client executives, Black Belts and Green Belts.

 

Kemal ÖNEN

Other founding MATRİS partner Kemal ÖNEN, joined Dow Chemical Company in 1993, has assumed the role of Six Sigma Black Belt at the end of 1999, for two years of duration. He has managed several global Six Sigma projects for planning, logistics and purchasing processes till early 2002. He was selected as one of the best five Six Sigma practitioners from 1,000 Black Belts in 2001 and took place at Dow Annual Report 2001.

From 1993 to 1999 in Dow Chemical, he has assumed various management roles on  Materials Management, ERP Implementation Management, Production Management, Project Engineering, Process Engineering and global investment projects management.

Before Dow Chemical, he has worked at Italian and Turkish offices of Foster Wheeler Bimaş, one of the most reputable Turkish engineering and contracting company, in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Procurement Management and Sales Management.

He has graduated from Technical University of İstanbul, Aeronautical Engineering Department.

At MATRIS, Önen is responsible for managing Six Sigma implementation projects, new product development, managing and providing training and consultancy for client executives, Black Belts and Green Belts. He is also responsible for software and IT services management.
