Veli ANDAÇ, who graduated from Turkish Osmangazi University, Department of Statistics in 2006, started his career as a Clinical Research Assistant at Optimum CRO in 2009 after his military service. He gained experience in monitoring projects in the field of clinical research, performing project monitoring visits, bio-statistics data entry, and analysis.
In 2015, he decided to go to England to develop her career and started a master’s program in Project Management at Bournemouth University. In addition to the Project Management methodology throughout the graduate program, he received academic education on Leadership Principles, People Management, Marketing Strategies, Corporate Governance and Business Ethics fields. He conducted literature research on the impact and importance of Statistics and Project Management disciplines in continuous improvement methodologies. In his master’s thesis, he examined the importance of Lean Six Sigma methodology in Project Management and brought important findings to the academic literature about the two methodologies.
In 2017, he started to work as a Quality Assurance Specialist in Çebi, which produces decorative furniture accessories. He took an active role in internal audit and supplier audits during his tenure. In 2018, he initiated the “Çebi Process Improvement” initiative and assumed its leadership and managed the coordination of field improvement activities. In 2019, he completed Çebi’s first “Lean Six Sigma DMAIC” project, providing substantial financial savings to the company. In parallel, he planned the adoption and deployment of the Lean Six Sigma methodology within the company.
Veli, who joined Matris in 2020, has been undertaking Lean Six Sigma Black, Green and Yellow belt trainings, and project coaching services as a Master Black Belt as of 2021. In addition, he is responsible for new product development projects under the umbrella of Matris innovation initiative. He also takes the lead of projects in the field of technology and software.
